Description
- Denomination:The wine is produced in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy under the IGT
geographical designation. It allows the producer greater flexibility in grape varieties
and winemaking techniques compared with DOC/DOCG regulations.

- Ageing:Barrel ageing followed by bottle ageing. The 2017 J Prognai is reported as being matured
to develop structure, complexity and smoothness before release.
- Style: Still Red Wine
- Nose profile:Intense and complex aromas of ripe red and dark berries, cherries and
plums, accompanied by delicate spicy, vanilla and balsamic notes.
- Varietal:Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella
- Palate profile: Full-bodied, powerful and warm, with concentrated ripe fruit, velvety
tannins and a well-structured palate. The wine has excellent
persistence and a long, elegant finish.
- Alcohol by volume: 16%
- Serving temperature: 18-20° C
- Colour: Deep and intense ruby red, developing garnet reflections with ageing.
- Food matching: Excellent with game, meat ragù, roasts, braised meats and aged cheeses.
It also pairs particularly well with beef and lamb.
